In temperatures near 50 degrees I dont think any visitor could possibly wear Trousers, I dont know the answer to your question, If you dont see any reference to this where you booked it then chances are their will be no dress code.
A cheap pair of linen trousers (try Primark) will solve both problems as they will be light enough if you have to wear long trousers.
Seriously, dress shorts and top (polo shirt or shirt) does fine at most hotels. Swim wear is a big NO NO.
