Well Afandou has more of an atmosphere as it's a traditional village but Faliraki isn't the party place it once was. It's actually quite geared towards families these days and although you still get the 18-30s crowd to a degree, it tends to be high summer months (July/August). Even so they tend to stick to Bar Street and Club Street and pretty late on so the two very different groups fit in surprisingly well.

My favourite resort, with great beaches has to be Lindos but with a two year old i can think of more suitable options - cobbles, hills and buggies probably aren't the best mix! Nearby Pefkos might suit, that's a very family friendly resort with a great beach and if you fancy a trip into Lindos it's a short bus/taxi ride away.
