Hi all

Had a great 2 weeks in Sunny Beach, hotel was in great location. close to all the attractions without being bothered by noise etc at night.

Although basic, the rooms were cleaned daily for the 2 weeks we were there. breakfast was just ok, and we were happy sticking to toast, fruit and cereal. fried stuff looked a bit naff, bu enough people were eating it

the messages about fines etc for food is a load of crap, we regularly had crisps, ice creams etc outisde and inside the rooms and no-one said a word.

As for the resort its great as it seems to cater for just about any group of people. teenagers etc have the nightclubs, shot bars and cocktails and couples have the nice restaurants with bands etc.

couldnt fault the place at all, never saw any trouble, all the talk of prostitutes etc is a load of rubbish I didnt see one all the time we were there, a couple of street beggars and that was about it. definately change as much of your money out there if you can, the rate hit 2.20 at one time when we were there so we cashed in. compared to the 2.08 i got changing in england

Bulgarians are very accomodating, really friendly and helpful.

loved the low cost of everything, saw one place offering a large beer for 0.79lev which is just ridicoulously cheap! most of the more popular bars were about 2.50lev for a large beer

food was also cheap, most expensive steak was about 28lv but most other food around the 15lev mark

Djanny's best place by far - although couldnt get the hang of the menu's, but all good - so enjoy trying them all
