Hi Laudan, are the staff all the same from last year, or have they moved on ?

Some of the staff are still there off last year, and some recognised us. Shaggy & Oscer still there, all the staff at Reggies, some of the waiters and the girls from the kids club. I will ask my daughter when she gets in, she knows all their names.

She says Abbey from the kids club is still there and DJ Chucky.

A bit off track from my all inclusive post.I have been offered Club Aida for £2000 for 4 of us next july.Is this a good price for this hotel and is it a nice hotel for the girls (8 & 13).

hello i am traveling to this hotel next week 21st sep for 2 weeks i am going with my partner and 2 children age 4 and 10 ,will everything still be open in marmaras like the waterparks ect.i have read the reports on this hotel and it sounds really good is it close to everything like the town,beach,bars,also can somebody tell me what prices i am going to be paying for ,a meal,drink,waterparks,shopping and can anyone recommend any nice places to eat. thank you very much

Hi all!! We are heading to Club Aida again this year (June 7 from Glasgow). Last time we were there was June 2008 and we loved it. Ended up going to Majorca last year and have to say that it was just not the same. Looking forward to seeing if any of the staff are the same.

Hope that it is as good as I remember and the standards have not changed? Anyone that went last year that can say whether it is as good?

16 weeks today!!

We were at club Aida June 2008 and June 2009 and it was just as good the second time around. Alot of the staff were the same and some remembered us. Off to Belek this June for my 40th so will miss this year but its the only hotel that we have ever gone back to twice. Enjoy you hols.

We're staying at this hotel in June, Are there any 2 bed appts that are quiet..ish, or any rooms that are in a better position than others?

Hi mickyjo, we were at Club Aida last July for two weeks. What a fab holiday we had. We tried to get a 2bed apartment but were unlucky. From what I remember there were about 6 or 8 2 bed apartments, they are in the inside corner of the hotel facing the bar/restaurant area toward the pool. The staff/food were all absolutely brilliant. The photographer also should have a mention, we had photos taken and they are brill. Hope you have a good time. Bev

we are going again this year our 5th visit to this hotel ... its brill . There are 5 2 bed apats , they face the bar/pool .

If they face the bar does it mean it'll be noisy? ( i'm not bothered, just like to know what to expect)

The music/entertainment finishes at 12 every night, and then perhaps a few people stay to have a drink or two after that. We did not think it was very noisy at all. Have fun x

Hi. We are also going in June to Cluba Aida and although we have been before we are not sure of the location of the 2 bed apartments (since we were in a one bed apart before). We were told they face the pool but where exactly are they.

My sister seems to think they are either above the British Bar or above the kitchen. Either way we are not fussed as the Aida was amazing just wondering really...if anyone knows?

Hi stayed in Club Aida last 2 years and in 2 bedroom apartment last year. Just a wee tip- we went in July and it was very very hot and paid for the air conditioning but because of the location of the 2 bedroom apartments they don't actually get a lot of sun as shaded by building. We actually found the we could have done with out air conditioning (actually turned it of everynight). Even try a few days see how it is as you will save money as not cheap!

Frosty, thats a great tip, I'll defo leave it a couple of days before i fork out for it.

Do you think its better to request a high floor?

Hi Mickyjo. We had 2nd floor apartment last year but don't think it would really matter as only 4 high. We had a great time at Aida and would have went back for a 3rd year but wanted to try a different part of Turkey. The food through the day at the hotel is great especially the salads but only ate there once at night as had far too many favourite restaurants in Marmaris that we had to revisit. Just another wee tip. I am sure that you are aware that you don't pay by cash but on hotel card which you pre top up (you can also get the kids their own and put a little on theirs so they don't have to use main card and risk loosing it). We made sure that we slipped 1 good waiter and 1 of the evening bar staff 5 lira every now and again ( not to put in tip box but just for them) and found we got wonderful attention and my hubby says that my cocktails got a little bit more attention than others. I am sure you will have great time. Any questions just ask. Frosty
