Hi there..
We're going to travel to Tunisia for the first time late August (2 weeks..)
We're not certain if we will choose Hammamet or Sousse.
Hotels we have been looking at is :
Marhaba Palace (sousse)
Residence Diar Lemdina (hammamet, but VERY long trip to town).
.. and a bunch more...
What we're looking for is a nice and safe hotel for our 2,5 year old daughter with a nearby beach and fun for her, together with walking distance to shopping, resturants and bars..
I've read things about people tend to "stay-at-home" in many hotels in Hammamet due to the traveldistance to town and the lack of fun things to do (resturants, music.. etc..)
Might be i'm too picky here. but i'll give it a shot anyways
Hi, we as a family with 2 girls have travelled to Tunisia 2007 and 2008 to the same hotel (The Kanta Hotel) in pek. The hotel is set in a good location to the beach, shops and not far from the marine, and the hotel is second to none. The food, staff and cleaners are out off this world...... Wish i was going back... Anymore questions ask away and i will try to help you.
If you book with Thomson you get a great kids club (or it has been for the last 4 years ), Food is good, theres several good shops/Restaurants/banks close by.
Staff are great with kids, they have a Mini Disco most evenings.
If you have any questions or want more information ask away.
