we are a family of 3 (going next friday!!) and we take £1200 for us

I normally only take £100 worth of lira with me just to get me through first night and day and take the rest in stirling, tend to get better x-rate over there, there are ATM's everywhere so easy to get money out

we tend to get through all our money but included in that is buying loads of clothes, trips, bags, shoes etc etc!

It really does depend whether you're going All Inclusive or S/C.

We spent just under £1000 on food and drink (not in Icmeler) between 2 people in 2 weeks. We were on B&B basis.

I normally take £2000 but try to budget £100 a day, then we have extra money left for shopping and dearer nights outs in the 2nd week, plus a boat trip. We are a family of 5 with kids the same age.
I think Turkey can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be...I find it very cheap to eat out and about, but I find Spirits/mixer can be expensive.
