At least you will have a nice break when you get there!
My opinion - either is nice but I think nails look better without polish - it shows you look after them.
Do you ever watch Golden Balls? The ladies must have their finger nails done by the same manicurist - they look false because they all have the square white tips.
Off to get mine done tomorrow Suzie plus eyebrows & hair coloured. I wouldn't normally go so early, but the last couple of times I've had my eyebrows done, I've had a few spots after - so giving them time to clear up. Hopefully the nail polish will last that long. I do like to see something on my toe nails when they are exposed during the summer months. I'll take some nail varnish with me as well.
I like to get my hair coloured and my nails done a few days before i go away it makes me feel so much better.
It's all just part of the build up for me.
Same for me ,hair colour, Pedicure ,File&polish all booked for next wed morning then Heathrow for overnight stop
getting my hair cut and coloured on monday waxing and pedicure on thursday more or less all sorted now friday gonna chill with a takeaway and a beer cant wait
Getting my eyebrows done on Friday, haircut Monday and Monday evening I'll be doing bikini line and polishing finger nails and toes before relaxing with a glass of something.
Landed up with the "arc" yet again. Looks really nice though. Fair play she even shaped my finger nails for free. I find the French Polish doesn't last on them. Hair is nice too.
No wonder you and Helen don't go abroad for weekends - it would take you both too long to get ready!
Would love to see you at the airport next week, after all the tips etc, bet you both will look 'the business'!
Who are the other couple you are going with? Is the lady like you and Helen?
Seems like you all have such a good relationship and will have so much fun. Wish I was with you!!

No, her husband is He's Eifion, another HT member. He's like us in that he researches, asks questions, gets excited and struggles with what shirts to leave behind. He's been warned by his missus that he's not taking 14 shirts this year I'll bet that he'll have had his hair cut too!
As for looking the biz- I'm not sure about that, but we will have certainly done our best

I do Suzie - well 3 or 4 days -but for cultural breaks. No the other lady isn't a bit like us for preparation - hates shopping, but like us she enjoys a good time. Before we go away we always tell each other that everyone does exactly what they want to do. Some of us are early birds, while others like a lie in. If AI we sometimes eat in different restaurants & meet up later. 95% of the time we spend altogether though, & we try to find trips that we'll all enjoy. We've all saved hard for our holidays so we should all get the most we can out of them.
