Usually 3 weeks abroad & a couple of weekends in this country.
Usually 3 weeks abroad, however if we go away in October like we're planning on we'll have been away 4weeks this year

Same here Miss Pink but I have one booked for next year to look forward to,normally only go away once every 18 months or if lucky once a year thats abroad but do holiday quite often in the uk

I mainly just have one but managed 2 last year. This year as I too have stopped smoking I am treating myself to 11 nights in Sharm el Sheikh on top of the fortnight in Turkey that I had a few weeks back. As I am a single traveller and like to use singles holiday companies my hols are never what could be described as a bargain so I think that's very good going for me!
Me too Shazajo, I have booked Jamaica next April for 2 weeks - I have started the countdown already, where are you off to. 
Used to be just 2 weeks away in the summer but for the last couple of years have found we can also manage a cheap week away at Easter. We're off to Dom Rep next week, completing this year's holidays (were in Benidorm at Easter). Already booked next year's two. Agadir, in Morroco over Easter and Olu Deniz Turkey next August

What are we like? I think we'd all take as many as we could! This year we've had 2 weeks in March (Benidorm) just come back from 2 weeks (Costa Calida) and I've just booked 2 weeks in November (Benidorm). That's 6 weeks up to November, and we're hoping to get another before next March...... 
Usually twice a year, Easter the canaries, summer majorca had been looking at cyprus greece but opted for majorca again, would go on more but cant dump the girls 20 and 17 thought it would be just the 2 of us by now 
Can't they stay at home CFC. I first left my sons when eldest was 18 and youngest was 15. They managed fine and I haven't looked back since. I did have a very good neighbour who they could turn to in an emergency, but thankfully she wasn't needed.
Oops, I just remembered, during a telephone call home that first holiday, youngest told me he'd scorched the carpet when he let the iron fall- it hadn't long been down either
Fortunately, it was in a corner of the room and wasn't too noticeable.

Gran Canaria but not until september

At least im not the only one scouring the internet for hols lol.
Usually we have a two week holiday and a cheeky week later in the year but this year we are back to front having a week away starting on sat! and 2 weeks in Mexico in November. Plus usually 3 weekend breaks in London a year
well, we usually have 2 abroad holidays in europe, but this year we had a long haul in jamaica, so even though we had a week booked for august, hubby didn't want to fly again so we're off to edinburgh for 5 nights for the festival which will be fab !! mind you , could've gone to the med for what we spent on accomodation, but hey, ho, its differrent and our 8 yr old will love it too !!
I've kept a record of our hols from when we first went abroad in 1976! and so far have been away 52 times I don't count holidaying in this country because these days we just don't bother and I love the sun.
This year we have been to Gran Canaria, Benidorm, Torremolinos, and Lanzarote,
and in October we shall be going back to Benidorm.
I always try to find a good deal so I am able to spread the cost and this enables us to go away as many times as possible, having your children off your hands has many benefits.

Fuengirola for 2 weeks next sunday, and hopefully barcelona at xmas, or maybe marbella/mijas for a few nights in a villa new years eve.money permitting..
