If you are travelling through Wexford and hungry near New Ross - our family highly recommends the Upper Deck
Cafe, located at 8 Mary Street.
The ground floor is home to a small coffee shop/pastry dock and upstairs is a lovely
family restaurant. Relaxing aptmosphere with ship decor, we found the food well prepared and presented, from the Full Irish Breakfast (warning - the portions are very generous) to well sized sandwiches and burgers. The menue is varied and covers vegetarian diners. Desserts are mouth watering and hard to turn down. Whether you are passing by for a coffee or a full meal - we found the service from staff (a special mention to 'Maura' who on the three times we visited was in attendance - very welcoming and professional -making sure all was fine and everyone had everything they required.
Prices very good value and if I lived in New Ross, I could see myself calling in there for a coffee or lunch or dinner at least once a week!
Enjoy!
