Just discard the 44 of the telephone number and add a 0 before the 1. Hope this helps.

e-mail uk.contact@avon.com or call 0845 601 4040. Just got this off my brochure.
Thanks both - you were quick off the mark there. As its out of office hours now, I'll try the e mail first. If I don't have any luck with that, I'll phone them up. thanks again.
No problem i hope you get this sorted.
E mail duly sent - I'll keep you updated with any reply.

Very rapid response from Avon, Helen but are you sure the stains are from their sun cream and not rum and coke?
Well I have to say, I have used the Avon Beta Carotene moisturiser since my holiday in June and have had no problems with any colour transference (I love it so much, I have ordered another two bottles of the stuff). I wear white underwear most of the time and that would be where I would expect to see it. If I remember from another thread, it doesnt have any "tanning agents" in it so im surprised you had any problems. Hope you get it sorted out though.
As I said Helen T. Hope it gets sorted, its such a shame when this kind of thing happens and its normally to the things we favour the most (like a pair of shorts of my daughter's with a stain across the backside of the shorts caused by the sand at our local beach - do you think I can get it out? Oh no, even my mil has tried with no success. Another item of clothing ruined )
As there wasn't much left in the bottle I left it behind so I couldn't check. The stains are not only around the straps & armholes where you might expect to see a few, but scattered across the skirts of the 2 dresses and the waistband and one leg of the trousers suzie - the rum & coke stains were mainly round the necklines, where I'd been dribbling - must remember to pack bibs next year
CAUTION this product may discolour fabrics. Think i might have a change of mind and send it back when delivered
Worst offender I've found is Boots Soltan, horrible limey yellowy stains on everything not just white swimwear. But again on the bottles it does say it may stain. Think this should be re-worded.
Let us know how you get on as my mam is an avon lady and is curious at the outcome.
How to Remove Suntan Lotion Stains From:
Acrylic Fabric, Cotton, Linen, Modacrylic,
Nylon, Olefin, Polyester, Spandex
Gently scrape to remove excess lotion. Moisten the spot with water and apply an enzyme pre-soak (follow directions on label). Let the stain soak for 30 minutes. Flush the area with water. If possible, launder immediately. If not, allow the fabric to air dry.
Avon provide a guarantee which states, ‘if you are not satisfied with any of your purchases for whatever reason, simply return them for a refund or exchange within 90 days of delivery'. Therefore, any product, which is purchased, that proves to be unsuitable, can be returned for a full refund.
Fair enough I suppose but £4.50 is not going to pay for 2 new dresses & a pair of trousers. The letter also said that if the product was left to dry completely then it shouldn't stain. However I used the moisturiser straight after showering. I usually put a nightie on then, while I dry my hair, put make up on etc, so ample time for the stuff to dry. It's funny but there isn't a mark on one of my nighties. Anyway - just beware when using this product.
I have ordered some pre sun ltion with beta carotene and also the tan enhancing oil spray are you meant to put these on before your suntan lotion in the morning? im worried about the staining now.
