thanks darren, i did search on the flight forum and read about the pilot strike.
only worry is i presume head is office is in cyprus/turkey and not covered by abta/atol etc.. if things go arse over elbow what cover do i have ?
or is that the risk with the cheaper option ?
KTHY are based in Northern Cyprus (Turkish), but their head office is in Nicosia and sales mainly based in Turkey. Depending on who you book with, you may not be covered if things go wrong. That's the only downside. However, your travel insurance may (should) cover you and if you pay for the flight on a credit card, that'll offer protection too.
Darren
cheers darren
We've booked KTHY and you can reserve your seats during the booking process (no charge) but be aware, on the return it is possible someone will have sat in them as it leaves from Cyprus picking up at Dalaman. We are going to be very upset if someone has nicked our seats - especially on an 08.30 flight having been up since 4am!!!!
well we will have a 5yr old on tow so i take it you can't get emergency exits etc... as long as we are together i think there can't be much difference between them all, apart from the ones near the loos
I have read recently that KTHY have reduced their seat pitch - maybe added rows - does anyone know about this? We booked specifically for their greater pitch and are now quite worried............Manch/Dalaman
