I'm not quiet sure where you mean when you say the gold market. There isn't a market that just sells gold. The best place to buy gold is in one of the jewellers in Bodrum, there is a street where there are a lot of jewellery shops together just as you get to the main shopping are in Bodrum.

There is the Bodrum Gold Centre but it is very overpriced there, that is where they take people on their way back from day trips and I wouldn't advise buying from there.

There are some lovely fish restaurants in Gumusluk along the sea front, they are a little expensive but worth it for a special meal, I can't remember the names though as we have only ever been there for the day.
