Ive used Alpharooms loads of times - however this morning Ive just booked the Skyline Hotel in New York for a week.
We have never been to the States before - can anyone tell me whether the full price I have paid with Alpharooms includes local hotel taxes (some of the other sites say 15% extra in taxes)
Ive searched the terms and conditions and the only thing I can find is that "taxes are covered within Europe"
I rang their Customer Services and they told me that "I need to check with the hotel direct"...............surely they should know whether I will have to pay extra when I get there?
Anyway - just wanted to see if any of you have done this and whether the Alpharooms voucher covered you completely or whether the local taxes are added when you get there?
Many thanks
For anyone else booking through Alpharooms a hotel in New York - the price you pay to Alpharooms is the FULL price. You wont have to pay local taxes when you get there
Great news for me!
Glad that's sorted in your favour tootsie
Cheers Shirley!
