Hello all.
Me and the family (the missus and her 13 year old daughter) are heading to Benidorm for christmas this year.
We are after and suggestions for places to eat for christmas dinner, as some traditions need to be kept!!!
I have heard the weather can be a bit ropey? Have i heard right? Although i assume its still an improvement on the UK conditions!
Also any info on whether all the bars are open and any special events / things to do would be very welcome!
I have beento benidorm many time but have only been during the summer months.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!
If you put Christmas into the Search facility and choose this forum and Topic Titles you will find several topics discussing Christmas in Benidorm.

Thanks..............................any suggestions for flight transfers?????????????????
If there are three people then I think the easiest transfer (apart from hiring a car) is to get a taxi. There are usually several outside the Arrivals hall. You might save a bit by booking a transfer in the UK but not much.
Shuttle transfer approx £11pp booked through Travelrepublic.
Does anyone know if the boat trips still run over the christmas period?
I know aqualandia closes, but i assume the nature parks still open, and i assume the same regarding Benidorm palace?
i know its a lot of questions, just want to rest my mind that it will be a packed out week, as havent booked the best in ways of accomodation, so dont wana endup in the room for days!!!!!!
Thanks Again..................
Regarding the weather, last Christmas Day it was sunny and 18C in Alicante and the same on Boxing Day and that in the middle of a long and cold winter on the Costa Blanca.
Mundamar stays open but Terra Natura and Terra Mittica can vary, some years they have only opened at the weekend and some years they have closed best check thier websites.
Christmas dinners are served in lots of the British bars but they advise you to book in advance, so you could call into one of them when you first get there. We have never bothered before as we didn`t think our son would be happy sat in one place for too long (he was only young and very active). We tended to go for a Chinese instead and we never booked, not traditional I know but we had a Christmas dinner back in the uk.
Where are you staying and when do you go ?
Thanksfor the info. We fly out on the 21st December until the 28th. Never been away at christmas before and really looking forward to it. Sounds likeeverything is open and plenty to do?
If I remember Shelias in the old town was rated before for a Christmas dinner and the Queens, not sure of any where else but lots do bookings. If you haven`t anywhere sorted before I go, I will have a look and post on here any places that have tables left if you like. You may find that some members might be going out just before Chrismas and they might be able to help.
It`s fantastic at Christmas, the lights are lovely along the streets. A lot of the hotels trim up and a lot of the shops trim up too. Practicaly every where is open. But the best bit is sitting in the sun and knowing how cold it is in the uk and not having to queue for christmas shopping in the supermarket.
