We're looking for a two week, all inclusive, holiday in the Maldives next March, April or May (2010). Due to work commitments it would be better for us to book in advanced but we're on a tight budget (£1,000 - £1,200 per person).
Anyone seen anything which would suite or are we better off going for a late deal?
Any help would be appreciated
Hi, I've been starting to look for a june 2010 maldives holiday - first choice and thomson seem to have some cheaper options and it usually helps of you fly with their suggested airline. Club Faro (3*) (first choice) and Biyadhoo (3*) (possibly thomson) are the cheapest i've seen at just over £2000 for 2 people 2 weeks all inclusive but I think it's probably more expensive if you travel in march and april as its still their dry season. Good luck in your searching!
And just remember prices will be higher the week before Easter and the week after. As Easter weekend 2010 is Friday April 2nd - Monday April 5th.
It was about £400 cheaper to go in june when we booked. we nearly went for thatmonth, But June is in the monsoon season so we opted to pay the extra
Maldives 2010 - Any cheap early bird offers
Sadly I don't think there will be many early bird offers around now, the holidays to the Maldives have been released for a while, at least 5 months in some cases, we booked ours for 2010 in early March this year with First Choice and the price for that same holiday has risen by many hundreds of pounds since, in fact for the same water villa that we have booked the pice has now risen by almost £2000 pounds
We were going to upgrade our flight to the premium cabin but at £600 we decided not to
I would suggest that you have a look around and if you find a price that you are happy with you should go ahead and book it.
Good luck with your search hope you find something

This is the sister island of Faru we stayed for 3 days at xmas Very nice island Robison Crusoe feel to it
Beginning to wonder whether to pay amentment fee and changing our holiday from the sister island faru to this fihalhohi We are paying £1100 more for the same dates
Just been looking for myself for april and Thomson have a couple - Hudhuranfushi and Meedhupparu - if your not looking for frills equator village right down in the addu atoll has reviews stating the real maldivian experience - i think it could be quite interesting!
Stayed at fihalhohi couple of years ago it was lovely but small
