We fly to Bangkok in a couple of weeks and my other halfs mum is getting herself in a bit of a tiz about the temperature scanners she has heard about at airports. She has hot flushes now and again and is worried she would be picked up on this. Are they scanning people flying to Bangkok from Heathrow? I should imagine if they are then a simple hot flush wouldnt cause an issue but want to put her mind at rest.
Cheers.
Also, they are very, very hi tech. I would say there is no chance hot flushes would be confused with Swine Flu, although i'm not a medical man.
Tell your MIL if she's concerned about her body temp to take a couple of paracetamols one hour prior to landing.
