We too are 2 adults and a 14 year old but we have booked AI for Protaras for October half-term; mainly in case the weather isn't up to much at least you dont have to venture too far and also because there is more chance of there being other teenagers around (hopefully!).Have you ever been at this time of year before? We have done Spain in October but not Cyprus.

Hi, no, we have only ever visited the months from mid June to early September. Did you book well in advance? I've been looking at the prices now and they are very high. I'm hoping something may become available 7 to 4 days before we want to go. One can live in hope! I just fancy a bit of sun & lovely Cypriot food to see out this year :sun2

We booked at the beginning of the year; saw a good offer on Tom. Cook; went into Agent and they price matched it but have checked recently and it was still over £2k so I know we got a bargain! Know what you mean about some sun; we go away in Feb and March to see us through until August and then (money permitting) October to tied up over to Xmas!!! Just love our hols :)
Have you seen anything that has taken your fancy? We are staying at the Tsokkos Beach Hotel.

Still looking, but it looks like I may not bother and book a week at Whit instead, however hanging on until 17th. Have noticed there's still availability with Olympic.

Gave it up as a bad job, was really hoping prices would become reasonable, which they are if you can fly from the London airports but not from the Midlands. Roll on Whitsun.

To be fair Protaras is on the verge of closing for the winter.

I work in Protaras and most of the bars are empty as there's no one here.

The bar I work in was closed at 11.30pm on Saturday nightr as we had no one in and the strip wsas empty. I looked in plenty of bars and they were all the same.

Weather wise, daytime emps are approx 31 degrees while night time around 18 degrees.
