Don't know about the apartments, , but Icmeler is certainly OK for wrinklies. . I use a mobility walker, and find it easy to get around. And in October it won't be that busy.
I'm sure you will enjoy, the old village is worth visiting, and a walk along the canal is good.
I stay at the hotel oposite the Prince Apartments when I'm in Icmeler, I got back last week. The area surrounding the apartments is quiet up to about 10pm, once the diner service in the local restaurants has finished. At that point, the lights dim and the volume of the music increases as the cocktails start to flow. It's a local law that music must be at a low volume by midnight so everyone can get a good nights sleep. Apart from that, you'll have a peaceful time. The Prince apartments are in a good location for being close to the beach and centre, but still far enough away so you can have some peace and quiet. Icmeler is a great place for any age to have an enjoyable holiday. You might find members resort reviews useful. Things will start to quiet down in October with it being the end of the season.
We stayed in the Prince apartment last Sept 08 they are very nice hotel we have stayed in quite a few places over the years and must admit they are tops. As we do Turkey on a indepently the Prince cannot be book private otherwise we would always go back there .As for the Icmeler itself the place is flat in the centre its only when you go up by the market place that's abit of a hill.We are going to the Kapmar Hotel in the morning leave Manchester first thing. You will fall in love with Icmeler as thousand already have.
