Magnum is located near the Elephant shop and Guru Jewelers and Leather Touch (Rambos) Floyds hut is just over the road (excellent food) and Havelli is right on your door step for a good drinking place although they do some good food too.

Other hotels nearby are the Pheonix Park (just down the side of the Havelli) and Lemon Tree is just over the road.

The Magnum is in a good location very central. There are some reviews in the hotel section. When i stayed there the room was big but dark and very basic. However the breakfasts were good and the bar staff "Sam" was great. Its 4 years since i was last there however and things do change. As the previous poster said its right next to the elephant shop
