thanks for that message, yes I we are through insurance pursuing matters. The rim surface that goes into the pool was of shiney finish, which had the knock on effect that when water lye the surface was slippery. This area was just over a foot wide and was the last standing point before entering the pool. We have to find evidence to prove that this was an issue that had been reported/caused previous slips before we travelled and since. It was basically like water on glossy paint surface.
Did you/your wife fill in a complaint reoprt in reosrt, did you mention this to your rep?

yes we had filled in a accident report on site, we have the hospital report and all other documents like xrays etc and doctors reports. The various reports that we have read on sites like this have detailed people slipping on the pool edge, it clearly was an unsuitable surface, we and our other family with us witness a lot of people slipping, even after my wifes accident, which happened only a few days into our 2 week holiday.
