Hi folks
I've booked a week all inclusive at the Hotel Costa Caleta on March 3rd 2010 for my wife, daughter and myself.
Just had a few questions:
What should the weather be like?
How long should I hire a car for and where is best to visit?
What is the beach like?
Any other advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

I haven't been that early in the year, the earliest I've been is late March/early April. Weather in March should be hot and sunny during the day but chilly at night - take a jacket to go out in the evening.
The main beach in Caleta is lovely and usually hotter than than the hotel areas. There is another lovely beach at the Atlantico Centre, just south of the main resort. If you're hiring a car you'll find the best beaches at Corralejo in the north of the island and at Jandia in the south.
