I started to twich in the beginning of Oct. to have a holiday right after Christmas. I found out that in many cases places with best quality/price ratio were already fully booked. I succeeded to book Beach huts with the help from HT-rs
Pilots are having a Christmas holiday as well, it means that flying is possible before Christmas or closer to the New Years Eve.
So my suggestion is that for having a holiday during the busyest period of Year in Goa -you will be on the safe side when starting preparations early.

That's handy to know. I've been searching the internet every day to book for next winter. 5th November. I'll be ready and waiting.

Actually, we are going Christmas 2010 afterall. The plan was to go to Turkey in September 2010, then go away to Goa Dec 2011, which will cost quite a bit more because of it being Christmas holidays. But we have decided to just start saving up now, not go to Turkey in September, and to go to Goa next Christmas

My friend from work has relatives living in Mumbai, and she got a flight with lufthansa for under 350pounds per adult and 250pounds for her child, flying to Mumbai in December for 4 weeks. I think she booked in June this year.

I dont know if i should get a flight only, but then im scared of booking a flight and then not being able to find anywhere to stay down South.
