I think its how and where you bathe topless...think could I upset offend or embarass any one...if the answer is yes or maybe then dont do it....if no then carry on....

Forgive me for telling this as a bad example of how to go about it on the turkey forum as it happened in gran caneria.

I have no objection to topless bathing as long as others are considered...personally it wouldnt upset or offend me...

This year in grand caneria though I was offended... if the lady had been on the sun bathing terraceces or round the pool on a lounger it would have been fine ....but this lady had decided to sunbath toppless right next to the door used to go to and from the hotel to the pool bar ect...where all the lifts were situated...you had to pass her to out or back in to go to the resturant for meals...or your room.

I had 2 of my boys and my husband with me....I have brought up my sons to respect women ...gave them the talks about how a woman deserves to be treated ect....well my 14 yr old thought it was christmas...the lady wasnt asking for respect and the thoughts going through my teenagers head wasnt giving her any either ...the older lad was just very embarrassed...and my husband just didnt know where to look...

This lady was the only topless bather we saw on site.....and was flaunting herself where everyone had to pass ...it was a hotel that has lots of families....and there were better and more discreet places to bathe toppless...as where she was was quite shaded....thought at the time it was more to flaunt herself than any worries about the white bits....maybe she got a buzz from husbands and young lads seeing her boobs....

Maybe she got a buzz from you looking too? my mrs gets narked too when women flaunt themselves as she puts it she gets the right hump. I don't mind meself, if a woman wants to get her melons out for everyone to see I'll gladly look and give her a buzz if that's what she's after. I'd look all day long.......

hi groovy baby.....unless I'd had a blind fold and felt my way in and out of the hotel...there wasnt much choice....you had to walk round her lounger to get to the pool or the bar....sad it was...you wouldnt have been impressed ...wasnt worth getting a rollocking of the mrs for

The only time i was ever upset (for want of a better word)at seeing a woman sunbathing topless was one of the years the wife and I went to Jeselo in italy .We were walking along the beach which very long and sandy and is bordered by a grass area ,in the distance i noticed what i thought was a big blonde lying on the grass with white bikini bottoms and blue bikini top .When i got up close i discovered it was an old lady of at least eighty with long grey hair sunbathing topless and what i thought was a blue top was indeed the blue veins of her bristols reflecting in the strong sun .What a sight ,i was not right for days.

The time topless disgusts me is when my male counterparts are seen walking the streets, in shops and at bars without a shirt on. It comes down to having respect for your hosts and the culture of the country of which you are visiting.

I have seen many men being refused entry into bars and restuarants especially places like burger king and macdonalds for not wearing a shirt .And that is the way it should be . Its can' be nice sitting next to some 17st guy with sweaty armpits showing. If i saw anyone like that i just would not go in these places.
