We bring back honeybee, incense and cashews, but as we stay in the south I have never seen the skin products people talk about. Does anyone know where I can get them?
sydney
In Cavelossim - D'Mellos Chemist on the main road
Two Ayurvihar shops in Colva, on the beach road, one near crossroads and the other past the football ground.
In Margao there is a small beauty/allsorts shop, on the covered market road, sorry can't remember the names.
hi lassi - whats Biotique? not heard of that one.i've bought loads of garnier but thought that was the only "branded" skincare you could get there.mind you we haven't been down south yet.
Hi Bushbaby Biotique is creams and gels used by Ayurvedic doctors for masseges facials etc, you can buy the cream from shops with the mrmp on the bottom, very cheap. I bought some last time in goa on lassi's recommendation, lassie. Its wonderfull and i will be buying a lot more in a couple of weeks, we stay in the south and i bought mine in margao. Hope this helps Gel
Silver jewellry from the Tibetan market , Incense, aloe vera gel, drugs from Johnny's chemist , hareem pants and beachy clothes , himalaya herbals and Biotique, oh and those 'sexy' lighters for a joke
We also buy lots of Tiger Balm, although we end up giving some of it away to friends and family who have aches and pains.
We used to buy a lot of stone carved animals, but haven't seen any since we have been staying down south. I have always been fascinated as to how they are created.
