villas with pools

Hi, may seem a silly question but i was pondering the idea of going down the villa route next year. and one silly thought came into my head. is how well are these villa pools kept. o.k i know the normal complexs are cleaned and check every day and the Ph value is check on the water. but anyone with first hand infomation on here can give sound advice. reason i'm asking is my two year old daughter as just had a clostomy operation. and if the water is not up to a cleanish standard this will effect the open colon so to speak. although it will be covered up in the pool but i'm not going to take any risks of infection.

I have been on three villa holidays, and on each one a guy came each day to check the pool and do whatever it is that they do to make sure the water is clean. Each villa had a sparkling clean pool and I have never had any problems. Having your own pool at a villa is really great - I have another villa holiday booked next year, and have been to villas in Cyprus and Turkey. Where were you thinking of going?
not to sure as yet where to go i'm really easy with life as long has its warm mid september. not to bothered if its out of the way as driving is no problem for me no matter where i go. mind you malta there a bit loopy

I'll be in Turkey next year mid September - weather is lovely then. Loads of resorts to choose from depending on what you are looking for, and I found villas reasonably priced - cheaper than Cyprus, and a 3 bed villa next year is costing less than it did in 2008 when I was there last, so it's good value.
options open to all countrys i will have a look at turkey. did you go through a main tour operater? or diy jobbie?
Always DIY little legs. Book flights first when they come out, and then start looking for accommodation. There is so much choice in Turkey for villas, and I like dealing direct with the owner. We have paid a deposit for next year's villa- less than £60.00 and don't have to pay the balance until 6 weeks before we go. Plenty time to save!
i have been looking at owners direct, there seems to be some nice ones. but ive read some reviews where the ad is not the same when you get there. like outdated photo's, and the agent keeping your deposit due to made up damage ect.... apart from thompsons is there another tour operater that does villas ive got £3000 including flights for two weeks in september to spend, i would rather spend the whole £3000 and a good one than say less on taking a risk of sleeping in a garden shed if you guys can help, (not turkey)
well i am going to take the plunge after doing some research, found a 3 bedroom villa in forteventura all bedrooms have there own bathrooms ect, large private gardens with good size private pool, large sun terrace also roof sun terrace. with flights for 5 people return for two weeks £1,490 bargin
