We spent an enjoyable day at Jungle Park (even though it poured all day )
It specialises in birds of prey, and hosts a display of eagles etc. flying.
There's also a parrot show
and lots of animals to see, including meerkats.

I think you can get a free bus. Look out for the brochures.

Jungle park is a good day out. My kids loved it and the ages at the time were 12, 14,17 and 19. We went to Loro park the following year and you are right we found the travel a bit of a chore but loved the day. You can't compare the two really but Jungle park will keep you entertained for four or five hours walking round all the animal and bird enclosures and watching the shows.

Thankyou guys. We will try it out. Anyone know the best place for tickets to Siam Park, we definately are going there. We would also like some more ideas if possible of places to visit around the Playas de las Americas area.

you can buy joint tickets for siam and jungle park. well worth it!

we were there in august and bought tickets for siam and loro parque and it was 59 euros( i think!) per adult.

we always use the money exchange/ fishing/ excursion shop behind the vulcano hotel. he is very reasonable for all the excursions.
