A word of warning to anybody travelling with Thomson Holidays to Luxor and staying in the Mercure Luxor - I had a telephone call yesterday, informing me that Thomsons no longer have a contract with the Mercure and that I had been switched to the Sheraton. I am out there in early January. If you believe that you are staying at the Mercure and are travelling with Thomsons, expect a call.
