I`ve been price watching a holiday on Thomsons and noticed the flights have been moved on several hours for my dates, out, moved from early morning to afternoon and return, late night. I then noticed that they are now using British Airways as the carrier. The flights are Saturdays to Alicante from Glasgow, in our case July. I had held off booking because of the high prices , my opinion, but the possible strikes at BA are potentially another fly in the ointment. I`ve never flown with BA on any flight so have no idea what to expect flight wise. Incidently when pricing my holiday Thomsons Airways are initially shown but next page BA is shown as the carrier.
Any comments welcome.
Edit: I've just realised your original booking is with Thomson so you would need to check that the luggage allowance etc. wasn't restricted to their measly amount, in which case you might find it works out better to put the package together yourself, just booking the flight with BA.
The holiday would be a Thomson Gold hotel. I`ve looked for the baggage allowance but can`t find it so I`m assuming it will be 20kg as that`s what we had on a gold holiday last year. I`ve priced the hotel separately and it`s nearly as dear as the package. Thanks for your reply.
