Hi everyone
This is my first post on here. Me and my partner are thinking of going on holiday to Cyprus this year probably in June/July. We were thinking about Paphos, but am open to other options. We would be looking at staying in a hotel, but not sure if we should go All inclusive? Does anyone know any good hotels to stay in, although any information would be greatfully received as I have no idea about where to even start looking or where to go!?
Any help would be lovely,
Vicky
without knowing you taste it would be difficult to make recommendations straight off. so may i suggest yo take a bit of time to brows the members Cyprus hotel reviews
and the cyprus resort reports and see if anything grabs you

I have been to Paphos and Napa, and prefer Napa out of the two, would recomend either Nestor or Anesis Hotels, both far enough away from centre to be quiet, but near enough to good bars and restaurants..
Hope you find what you're looking for

Pavlo Napa, great hotel, on nissi Avenue,20 mins walk from ayia napa.
Also take a look at Protaras and Pernera, which is like Nissi just a short stroll from the more lively Protaras..
yes Cyprus can be a bit expensive when compared to other countries but, if you don't use the themed [English/Australian/Irish etc] bars and the foreign restaurants [English/Italian/Chinese etc] in the main resort areas, by walking [or driving] a little away and eating good local produce and meals together with locally produced beer/wine/spirits then it can be a very reasonably priced holiday if you want to drink imported beer/cyder/spirits/mixers then be prepared to pay for the privilege
We have been for the last six years when we decided that Spain was getting expensive. I can truthfully say that what we spend now is not much more than when we started. Booked already for October and the price I got from Thos Cook - for the same hotel - is actually around £250 cheaper than I paid in 2008.
We have also been back to Spain for a couple of other holidays, and, in my opinion at least, it is still more expensive than Cyprus.
Go there and enjoy it. We are both retired and on a limited income. We go where we get the best value for our money - and we don't skimp.
