Can anyone let me know if , as i have been told
that you still have to put your used toilet paper in a bin beside the toilet.
As i have never been to Turkey i have no idea....is it true ???

Yes, you have to put your paper in the bin or you will block up the toilets.

Yep, apparantly water is treated and drained through sand. A mixture of toilet paper and waste = difficulty in cleaning the water.
I thought I would really be put off by having to put paper in the bin but when you know what "the wheel" is for it makes it sooo much less distaT.steful.Hilarious thread about it on one of the forums,unfortunately I cannot work out how to do links so everyone will have to wait until my hubby is about unless some kind soul can put a link on for you.
The wheel in the Turkish toilets is a built in bidet!That is the nearest I can describe it without going into to much detail.
