Hello, hope you can help. We (2 adults and 4 yr old) are planning to go to Kefalonia for 2 weeks end of June this year and wondered how easy it is to do it by booking flights and hotels seperately- to save money.
Can anyone advise which airlines fly there or any good websites that can do bargin deals. So far through Thomas Cook and Thompson we have managed to get it to about 1,400 for 2 weeks B&B but would love to get it down a bit.
Also any specific hotels you can recommend would be great. Prefer traditional Greek to Brits abroad, must have a pool and be near to beach and village to wander around.

Have a look at the Tara Beach in Skala. It's just across a road from the beach and 100yds from the village centre. not sure of costs. have stayed there twice before many years ago.
the expensive bit is the flights, not as many as in the past so flight prices are high as the few that do go uk-kef have a captive audience
