Just got back Yesterday, During my my stay it was hot (avg. 25c) and Sunny with a bit of breeze and cloud, night it was cooler so perhaps best to pack a cardigan or light weight jumper.

got back on tuesday (23rd March) and only needed a jumper one evening when the wind got up (except the day trip we had to mount Teide - it did get chilly as we went higher).

If you are in a car Los Gigantes to Loro Parque should take no longer than 30 mins (coach may take slightly longer) - it took us just under an hour from Golf del Sur which is the opposite side of the Island.

I used to be a rep in Tenerife and went back last year - i tend to go her quite often.

Loro Parque is fab and will take 45/1hr from Los Gigantes if you are going to go with your tour operator!

I would also recommend Siam Park - its a new water park based 2 mins away from aqualand near torviscas - if you wak right through the park there is a pretend beach which has a huge pool and they have waves on every 1/2 hour!! kids love it!!!
