Thomson Airways used to show their inflight retail range on their website. However, they've removed it for some reason. Given they offer a pretty similar range to Thomas Cook, you might want to have a look at theirs to give you an idea of the things on offer and prices.

Thanks for your help Gower
Thanks for reply Gower, I looked at our original booking details and on them it says OM862 LGW to Dalaman so I guess there has been a change. The return flight is the same. I'm not complaining as I'd rather be on the bigger plane anyway so its a bonus to get it at least one way!
Thanks for the info Darren, I will have a wee look there.
Any idea what plane will be flying from Manchester to Cape Verde on the 10th May 2010, flight number TOM892.
Are you sure that's the right flight number? It's not showing on the schedule as that. TOM892 is Bodrum-Bristol! MAN-BVC-MAN (TOM217/8) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including photos and seat plans.

That's strange, there's been a mix up with the flight numbers somwhere on the flight schedule with the look of it. All the details are the same other than the flight number. It looks like they've swapped them over from TOM217/8 to TOM892/3 since I last printed the schedule the other week

I appreciate it is an element of guesswork but is it possible or likely that Thomsonfly planes will be used whenever there is an opportunity due to the ash to bring their customers back from abroad as a priority rather than taking new passengers out to destinations where they have few people to bing back. So they could fly some planes out empty to clear the backlog of stuck passengers rather than risk taking even more out ?
That's impossable for anyone here to answer at the moment as it is unknown when aircraft will be able to fly. As you can imagine, there's a massive repatriation exercise to undertake that's going to take a while and the logistics of undertaking it are immense. There are litterly 1000's of aircraft grounded at the moment. Aircraft have already left the UK when the oportunity arose a couple of days ago in order to position them for repatriation work so yes, it will happen. The trouble is, by the time a window opens, it could closed before the aircraft is in a position to leave and even if it does, it may be a while before it can return. Everyone is at the mercy or mother nature for the time being.

You very kindly answered an earlier question from me about Tom796 as being a 'direct' flight but I am a little confused after reading another reply about a similar question to 'tashasmum' about the definition of direct and non-stop. Will mine be non-stop also?
Thanks Ange.
seedy2,
Thanks Darren
I´m apparently stuck out in Gran Canaria at the moment. We´re due to fly home from Las Palmas tomorrow at 1pm with Viking Airlines aka Kiss Flights. I´m guessing that won´t be happening especially if the plane is still in the UK.
We´re fortunate that we have a credit card and can access some funds, our hotel have also offered to extend our stay at a rate of 40 euros per night so thats not too bad. I´ve spoken to our travel insurance but all they´ve pretty much said is that as long as we have a letter from the airline confirming delay or cancellation then we should be able to claim back to the costs for accommodation etc. I´m not quite sure what we are actually entitled.
The advice from Kiss Flights seems to be just do not travel to the airport and keep checking the website for information. No advice at all for those that don´t have the means to support themselves, which thankfully we do.
So I imagine all we can literally do at the moment is sit tight and wait and see what happens. If anyone has any other advice for me I´d be really grateful.
Daz, do you know if Viking will literally just reschedule that flight to go back home at a later date or is there a possibility it will be cancelled and we´ll be left to fend for ourselves to get home again?

The law states that the airline has to get you home to the UK, how they go about that varies between all the airlines. As you say at the moment i dont think its going to be tommorow, but there is a start of a mini rebellion of european airlines who see money slipping through their bank accounts and are making test flights as we speak.
Darren should be able to give a more detailed answer.
TOM 7326 ema-ibz 12/05/2010 , many thanks
