Taverna/bar prices are mostly at last years prices. Owners are doing their best to absorb price increases
i am travelling to faliraki on the 1st september and also extremely worried about how much spending money ill need cause of the greece economy, i have heard a couple of news reports etc that tourists have got back from greece and wernt happy with how expensive things where. is this just the media overreacting or has prices shot up????
i got back from Zakynthos this weekend, apart from things like fuel fags and booze [which have all had the tax increased on them] the general food and bar prices were not noticeably different to last year, its not so much the prices but the poor pound/euro exchange rate which makes it seem dear
