Hi Debs0898,
I think that because you booked a charter flight 'MON' flight number as apposed to 'ZB' for their schedule service, this maybe the reason why you cannot access the booking via the Monarch site. When you book a charter flight on the Monarch website it comes up with this message 'All charter flights booked using this process are booked with our sister company Avro'. So it most likely means your booking is in the Avro computer system rather than Monarch's own system.
I recently booked a hotel with Monarch and my paperwork also stated Monarch Stockport, which basically means its being handled by one of their sister companies such as Cosmos, Avro, Somewhere2stay etc. as any bookings that are on Monarch's own system would quote their Luton address.
Its a bit confusing but basically they are all owned by the same group but trade as different companies, possibly a legal way of doing a tax dodge.
Hope this helps???
Mark
I am due to fly to Dalaman on Monday 24th May at 8.30 am from Manchester and just wondered what the plane will be ?
looking around I guess its either a a320, b757 or very maybe the a300 ?? but does anyone know just what plane it will be ? do ou need the flight number ?
Thanks
Looking at the Monarch website it looks like your flight number is MON5620. I'm sure Dazbo or Partyboy-uk will be able to help you with the aircraft type.
Mark
that's great thanks Mark
After all the confusion yesterday, is there anyway to tell me what aircraft is flying ZB612/3 today and what route it is operating before hand. Many thanks neil
As Mark757 mentions, please quote your flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are often several flights per day. The flight number ensures we get the correct details for you. MAN-DLM-MAN (MON5620/1) are currently operated by an Airbus A300B4-605R. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
