Luggage can be split between a party so long as the total is not over 60KG for 3, 40KG for 2 and so on

The Preacher,

Luggage details are available on Thomsons website. Although you can pool your luggage allowance, it's normal that each passenger can only check-in one piece of hold luggage. It's far easier with 2 rather than 3 bags too and gives you more allowance in effect as 3 bags weight more than 2 (empty). The maximum weight for any checked-in bag is 23kg.

Hi folks

Flying from Manchester to Mahon on 30 June returning 14 July - Flight nos TOM2304/2305.

Can you tell me the aircraft type please? When pre-booking our seating the configuration was 2-4-2 - is this correct?

weecarol,

MAN-MAH-MAN (TOM2304/5) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

I have dropped you a couple of questions regarding my flight from BHX to sharm on 27th may ( TOM 844 ) and originally you said that the plane would be a 757 - 200 winglets with aisle IFE but when I booked my seats the layout looked like 2-4-2. Can you now confirm what aircraft it will be please and that I will have seat back IFE
I checked the departures yesterday and it showed that this flight was delaved by about 7 hours...any idea what caused this as I dont really want the same thing to happen next week.

Thanks as always....

britabroad,

Aircraft do change from the original schedule from time to time. TOM844/5 was scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets) up to 13th May, but it changes to a Boeing 767-300/ER (short haul / winglets) from 20th May until 23rd September. These have seat back IFE throughout. We did mention it would be a 767 in reply to your post on 17th May. Further aircraft details are on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Delays happen for any number of reasons, but I know one of the short haul 767's has had a technical problem recently so it could be a knock-on from that.

Hi. sorry if this has been asked before but I've been looking at a Thomson Flight Only booking and during the booking process it asks if I wish to book a transfer to resort. The price seems very reasonable compared to other companies but it's not clear if it's a return transfer - phoned them yesterday but I can't say the person I spoke to filled me with confidence that what he said was correct. He told me if it was a return flight I was booking then it would be a return transfer. Can anyone confirm this?

I can't confirm it but I would imagine it is. I can't see them booking a single transfer on a return flight especially as it doesn't give any option to book one way or return.

shirley h,

The aircraft operates TOM188/9 from Manchester to Male and back. It then ferries down to Bristol as TOM518F early Saturday morning, departing MAN at 0435 arriving in Bristol at 0530 to operate the Cancun flight departing at 0905.

Hi, how can I find out where this flight is now? As I read it, it should be on its way back from Male (I think that's the Maldives?) but there's no record of it on their live flight info. Thanks

nicJW,

It would sound reasonable to me if the flight is return then so is the transfer.

Hi Darren

Could you tell me what aircraft operates the following route:-

TOM7510 BHX-REU (11 June)
TOM7257 REU-BHX (15 June)

Was originally going to book the Luton flight with friends for 1 week which I beleive is the 737-800 but I can't get the time off. Going to have to meet them out there & settle for 4 days instead but can't do that from Luton with Thomson.

Thanks for your help.

BHX-REU-BHX (TOM7510/7257) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets) / Boeing 737-800 (winglets) respectively.

Hi Darren,

Great info, really useful! Could you please tell me what aircraft type will be doing the Tom 188 and Tom189 flights from Manchester to Male and back on 9/6 and 24/6?
Also is there any way of knowing what meals will be on? and will I need an adaptor for my headphones?

Thanks

Hi Matt, Darren mentioned in an earlier post that this is the aircraft that will be operating my son's flight to cancun tomorrow- what a coincidence. I haven't been able to find mention of it anywhere today though :que

Welcome onboard :tup
MAN-MLE-MAN (TOM188/9) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). Further aircraft information in available on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). You'll need an adapter for your headphones. Meals vary and will have changed since my last flight. BY-TOM-AMM-FCA might be able to help you out there.
