wasginge,
EMA-PMI-EMA (TOM7710/1) are operated by Boeing 757-200 (winglets). The flight is scheduled to depart at 06:15 and land at 09:45 (outbound). The aircraft is the first flight of the day so there's less chance of a knock-on delay. However it depends how late the flight before is. The flight prior to yours is TOM7646/7 to/from Rhodes. It's due in at 23:55 Saturday night so there's plenty of time to absorb any delay.
EDIT: You just beat me to it again Gower!
Darren
Thanks, Gower

Hi, can anybody with access please tell me which aircraft Thomson used on flight TOM840 MAN-MUH today (18th MAy)
Going to Varadero on Thursday TOM172 @9:15(fingers crossed) Might be a tad early in my request but can anyone tell me where my aircraft will be arriving from into Manchester (or where it is now if possible) before taking us to Cuba? I can then tell if there is going to be any delays.
Travelled on AN, BK and YD so not sure if i will get to travel on any other aircraft but i know it makes no diffrence but would like to chalk another off my list.
Hoping the aircraft will be ok as they are starting to look a bit tired now what with the delay to the 787 but still a very nice aircraft.
Many Thanks
Andy
going with thomsons on 17th aug for 1 week to crete, gatwick to chania airport tom 4214 ......booked meal and seats together now need to choose which ones, think we will be at the front because of meals but any good seats to pick or are they all ok, thanks
It was a 757-200, not sure about ex-TOM or FCA though, my guess would be ex-FCA, but i'm sure Darren/Gower will clear it up for you.
Hope it helps

Thanks alexblfc... Darren or Gower can you confirm the aircraft for me please. The reason i ask is that I took a number of photos, and there were a number of Thomson aircraft at the airport at that time so I need to try to use the correct photo!!
Thanks guys.

As I've mentioned a couple of times here, my son's off to Cancun on saturday morning. They depart Bristol going via Manchester. I think the reason they have to land in Manchester is to refuel. Can anybody tell me if they will be getting off the plane or will they have to stay put? Thanks
if its only a technical stop [for fuel] then no not usually
Thanks Wiz- that's what I thought but a couple of people in work said that they've stopped to refuel before and everybody had to get off the plane.
The aircraft should be coming in from Cancun, Mexico (TOM196/7) before operating your flight. Have a great holiday
Darren
You can select pretty much any available seat through the aircraft with select your seat. Your flight, LGW-CHQ-LGW (TOM4214/5) are operated by an Airbus A321-200. Seat selection is personal preference so it's whatever you prefer really. They're all standard seats other than extra legrom seats so it makes little difference really, just where you prefer to sit.

G-FDZG (73H) operated the flight today.
Darren
Thank you Darren
The aircraft is only scheduled to be on the ground for 1 hour. As Wizard mentions, it's purely a technical (fuel) stop, also known as a splash and dash then they'll be away again. It'll take too much time to allow passengers to get off then back on the aircraft and settled again so they won' be allowed to disembark. Those that disembarked may have been on dual destination flight, for example St Lucia and Barbados where passengers disembarked in Barbados on the inbound flight while the aircraft was prepared for the return journey (those were the days!). They don't offer that flight now, sadly.
