Airport to Aparthotel sol de Alcudia

Hi,

My hubby and I are off to this hotel beginning of July with my mum and stepdad and 2 wee brothers. Looking forward to going but does anyone have any idea how long the bus trip from the airport will take? Also any ideas what the resort is like and ae we centrally placed as my mum has rheumatoid Athritis and I have problems with my knees (waiting on diagnosis) so for us walking can be a bit of an issue.

hello, as far as I can recall the Aparthotel sol de Alcudia is only about 200-300 yards away from the main resort centre, and about half a mile from the beach, it gets quite busy in summer, as do most resorts, but,Alcudia is very family friendly in that there is plenty for all ages to enjoy.
It is also very flat, so no problems walking for you, although, I would advise a taxi to the actual town of Alcudia, about 3-4 miles away (good market, think it's on a Sunday), the resort is the port of Alcudia really, the harbour there, about a mile, mile and a half ish from your apartments is worth walking round, some lovely restaurants and bars in that part of town.

Temperature in July can hit mid 30's in a heatwave, but is more likely to be mid 20's
