helenbxx,
MAN-ALC (TOM2620) is operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-300/ER (short haul / winglets)
ALC-MAN (TOM2235) is operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). It could be either a former First Choice or Thomsonfly aircraft as they are rotated regularly. It makes little difference as they are the same other than the seat design.
Darren
You've told me before about the return flight being a 757. I've checked the flight the last 2 weeks (to see if it was on time!) on the flightstats site and it states the plane is a 737-300.
Do you think it will be replaced with a 757 for when we go in June?
Many thanks
Helen
Flightstats website cannot be relied on, due to the volume of flights they track they occasionally get things wrong. A flight I was on not so long ago to Aruba was supposedly operated by a A330 - which it definately wasn't Thomson don't have the type in its fleet.
Take everything on flight stats with a pinch of salt.
oh right, thanks for that
I know I asked this question a few weeks ago but you indicated that the information I requested may change and was not guaranteed at that time? I wanted to find out what type of plane had been allocated for LGW-CAN-LGW (TOM092/093) for 17th June, return 1st July.
Do you know of any updates/comfirmations yet as you originally indicated the flight was to be operated by Thomson 757 and not an FCA 757 (which is our hope because of the space allocation?).
Kind Regards
Bergy
LGW-CUN-LGW (TOM092/3) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets) from the former First Choice fleet.
Darren
Apologies for getting the plane identifications wrong. The flight will definately be more comfortable in the FCA cabin.
Can you please re-confirm for me that the arm rests in seat numbers 9C, D and E (rear seats in Premium) on the B767 300ER V2 do not lift up, and there are no windows either side of these seats? It's just that when I phoned Thomson Airlines last week, they told me the arm rests do lift up and there are windows on either side.
Thanks again for your help.
Pat
just wondering if anyone (or dazbo the superhero hehe) could help me if im in the right forum.
What aircraft would i be flying on tomorrow? my flight number is TOM6312 from Cardiff to Larnaca
Thanks in advance,

Thankyou gower, much appreciated CourtneeLouise xxx
What is the seat pitch on planes from UK to Turkey likely to be? Going this time next year and hubby is 6'2. He coped ok 6 years ago on Easyjet from Luton to Athens which was 4 hours. Next year he'll have 1 of our girls on his lap, girls will be 17 months. There is 6 adults and 5 little ones going, ages will be 1 4.5 year old 1 2.75 years 1 13 months and 2 17 month olds. Thinking that if seat pitch is on the small side, then there might not be room for hubby to have on of our girls on his lap so she'll have to sit on someone elses.
Flights are normally operated by the Boeing 757-200/Boeing 737-800 (depending on where you fly from).
Seat pitch on these is the standard 28" seat pitch. Seat pitch on the EasyJet aircraft would have been about 29"

Further to Gowers post, all the information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
Darren
Please could someone confirm if the LGW/ALC/LGW on 31st Jul will be on a737 300
And if so do the armrests raise, think we are pre booked into row 5.
Much appreciated
Welcome onboard
Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are often several flights per day, eg there are two flights per day on a Saturday from LGW to ALC. LGW-ALC-LGW (assuming TOM4614/5?) are operated by a Boeing 737-300. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Arm rests lift in the middle of the seats as far as I know.
Darren
Cheers Darren
Re my post earlier this afternoon ...... can you please re-confirm that the arm rests on B767 300 V2 (seats no 9C D and E) lift up, and there are no windows on either side? Phoned Thomson last week, and was told that arm rests do lift up, and there are windows either side.... bit confused!
Regards,
Pat
Arm rests in the premium cabin of the former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER's don't lift up. This is due to the tray tables folding out of them rather than being on the seat back infront. There are no windows on row 9 of these aircraft. Row 9 is positioned between the CE of Choice on this photo. As you'll see, the window is blanked. It's due to the routing of wiring and air conditioning systems. Arm rests lift in the former Thomsonfly premium cabin as they have the usual seat back tray tables and there is no row 9 (premium) on those as there are only 5 rows in premium.
Darren
Thanks for your reply Darren. Sorry, I must have misread your previous reply, as I was under the impression that the food trays only lift out of the arm rests in row 1 in Premium.
