Any one interested in transfer from Dalaman to Ovacik, Hisonaru. we have just returned, used a company called Jays Transport, they are listed on the Hisonaru web site, charged £60.00 return for me and the wife, waiting outside airport when we arrived, even though flight was late, picked us up on time for return. Travelled in transit type mini bus, similar to dolmus buses, not brand new but did the job at agood price.

Hi scousemouse55

Just back from Marmaris last weekend all holiday including transfers booked with jet2holidays.

Transfers as claimed in a shared mini bus with the transfer time into Marmaris under 2 hours. We were on our way in the bus within 1 hour of the plane landing so no real hanging around. We had a brief 'comfort break' of 10 mins on both journeys.

You have to ring up to confirm your pick up on the return leg 2 days before. They say they will be there within 15mins of the stated pick up time and they were.

We were first off and last on so there would have been some people who had a longer journey, but as its only a mini bus so not loads of drops.

I would therefore say stick with the jet2holidays transfers and spend the money you save from a private transfer on some more Efes :cheers

Let me know if you want any other details of the jet2 experience :)

Thanks, had a fantastic time, first time in Turkey and loved it.

Some people had ordered meals for the flight but no one near us so can't say what they were like.

On board snacks included sarnies and toasties, crisps, chocolate bars, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, pepsi, fruit juice and water. Although they did start running out on the return journey as more people were buying snacks on the return leg. Probably due to very little time at Dalaman airport before departure. Prices as extortionate as you would expect on any flight - a meal deal of a sarnie, crisps and a drink £6.50 a snack deal of a chocolate bar and a drink £2.50 :yikes

Therefore for the outward journey definately reccommend a Boots meal deal taken onto the plane but at least you know emergency chocolate there if you need it :)

Hope this helps, but again let me know if you need any other info, otherwise have a great holiday.

Scousemouse, why not take snacks with you,or buy before you board, that way you will know that you can keep blood sugars right. My mum used to carry a banana and snack size biscuits in her handbag when she went out, they would keep her topped up in an emergency.T.

Think I will defo buy somthing at the airport before I go, but coming home believe the airport is very expensive will have to keep fingers crossed that have snacks onboard, believe a coke is a really good bet until can have somthing to eat

Dalaman airport is very expensive.

You should be OK getting a pepsi and snack when first get on board the plane, but would recommend buying a couple of cans on the first sell through to make sure just in case.

Just buy crisps, fruit, biscuits in resort and put in your hand luggage, its only drinks that you can't take through security.T.

When I first started traveling to Marmaris It was expensive to transfer but now a company called 'Holiday Hoppa' are doing a very cheap and superb service. You can book it on the internet and it costs approx. £20.00 for a return transfer per person. when you are due to leave they even text you to remind you.Well worth a try.

we used http://www.dalaman-transfers.com.

only booked them 24hrs before pickup and they were excellent. Even when our flight was delayed by 90mins (arrived at 02:30)

£50 one-way for 4 of us (fixed price for a MPV) or they will do return for £100 (max of 5 people)

Can anyone tell me how much a taxi would be from Antalya to Side? 3 people 2 cases. Tour operator charges £60 return, would it be cheaper than that?
