Tip for you - take some snacks and stuff for when you are by the Banana River as they get you there hours before launch, and although there are chairs there for you might be an idea to take a picnic blanket too. A tripod if you have one is a good idea if you want to take photos as its hard to take decent pictures due to how far away you are (in the dark anyway)
On the news last night they reported the Shuttle had a faulty valve and was being taken off the launch pad to go back to the hangar and the April 5th launch is now iffy.... sorry.
We'l keep our fingers crossed but on nasa's website it says the cargo that is to go to the space station was delivered to the launchpad yesterday. So things are still going as planned 13 days to hols

also had the pleasure of seeing his a few years back, awesome sight and it was the sound that really blew me away, never heard noiselike that in my life.
highly recommend to anyone going to fla to go if there is one on.
