We're visiting Sydney again in March. We usually fly down to Melbourne for a couple of days with Virgin Blue, but fancy doing it by bus and train. We'd like to do both journeys by day rather than overnight, and go one way by bus and the other by train. I know the cost wont be any cheaper than the budget flights, but we'd see some more of the country. Anyone any thoughts on this ?

If you want to see our country side it is a very good idear. The train leaves Sydney Central station at 7-42 am and get to Melbourne Souther Cross station at 18-55 pm if you want more info look up
