Holiday Inn Express ......... does what it says on the tin and is central in Birmingham.
Either Solihull via taxi or walk to Birmingham international train station and go to central brum. However what you pay for Taxi or train fare would most likley be more that the extra cost at the hotel so why bother!
Brum has 2 IBIS hotels, one right in the centre. The metropole is at the airport so thay have you unless you travel into Brum, Coventry or Solihull.
http://www.networkwestmidlands.com/CT_TicketDetail.aspx?TicketID=128&TicketOptionID=173662&resultsPage=0 there is also a child version at £1 and a group version at £6 which doesn't specify a maximum number in the group. The hotel claims to provide a free shuttle to Birmingham International station.
Travelling into central Birmingham (or Coventry) may not be as expensive as you think. After 18:30 the flat fare between any pair of stations in the West Midlands (ex county) area is £2 RETURN see
thanks for the advice guys, birmingham town centre might be tho option, what about coleshill?
Coleshill is basically a big village. It will have a pub/steak house or two and possibly a curry house/pizza place/chinese
