There are six direct buses between Alvor and Lagos on weekdays, four on Saturdays and Sundays. They leave from the roundabout at the edge of the village where the taxi rank is also situated.

Departure times (mornings) are 0940 (not on Saturdays and Sundays), 1015 (daily) and 1135 (daily)

Buses back are at 1415 (not on Saturdays and Sundays), then at 1600 and 1800 every day.

The journey takes 20 minutes. Don't be surprised if the bus to Lagos is anything up to 15 minutes late - the timetable does not allow enough time for the traffic jams in Portimao where the bus passes through on its way from Albufeira.

PS I hope this isn't too late as there is no bus timetable information whatsoever available at Alvor and no-one to ask.
