My friend posted off a handwritten form with a cheque and had no problems. He got his back quicker than we did and we did everything on line. He said it asked for a cheque on the print off check list which surprised me.

to day traid to fill on line visa.
it will tot axept the dates i put down.

not sure what you mean when you say it won't accept the dates you put down.
If you ask for a 6 month multiple entry tourist visa it will be valid from the date of issue for 6 months so you need to time your application to cover your travel.

In exactly which fields on the on-line application form are you trying to enter the dates that are not being accepted?

Are you sure you've requested a 6 MONTH VISA and not a 3 month one?
If you've requested a 3 month one and they process in the next 2 weeks, it will expire around mid Feb - and therefore may not cover your proposed date of travel back.

Hi debs16 we downloaded forms last week and when we took them in to the Cardiff Centre
they said they were out of date!!!!gave us new ones to fill in while there,so not sure about

Visa's due back tomorrow morning .......sent last monday to Hayes 
We did'nt expect them to be be processed so quickly......It's such a relief when you know they are on their way back

Filled application on line. Just dropped them off at Birmingham. Roy works nearby. Fingers crossed!! 
For me the process has been the quickest ever. Took everything to Wilton Road, Victoria on Friday morning after applying on-line. In and out within 10 minutes and now advised they are ready for collection (Tuesday). Mighty impressed. Off to London to collect them tomorrow. I can almost taste the Honeybee!!! lol
Visas back from Hayes today - sent on the 23rd Oct, in process on the 28th and returned today! Roll on the 3rd December - so excited! 
I have just received my visa from Munich, it's a 6 month tourist visa, but now the number of entries is stated as Double instead of multiple.
But the most surprising thing is the note near the bottom which reads " Gap of two (2) months not required "
Has anyone else had a similar one ?

Hi Lassigirl....I noticed the double entry option when I was filling in our applications but I was that hellbent on doing them "correctly" I didnt take that much notice and selected the usual multiple entry type. The 2 month gap not required is very interesting are you going to test it out
