Hi we're new to cruising (or will be soon!)
Just wondering about the P&O Ventura caribbean cruise at the end of Jan 11.
I know the ship markets itself as 'family friendly' - but what does that mean for that time of year?
Are we likely to have a lot of children on board given that it's outside of the school holidays (at least the UK ones)?

If you contact P&O customer services they will give you a breakdown of children booked on your particular cruise,within each age group,hope that helps.

probably going on the same cruise as yourself.ventura jan 14 from leeds & bradford to barbados.we are having to fly to manchester as the holiday is sold out and the plane has to refuel at manchester as the runway is not long enough at leeds with a full cargo,on the way back we come straight back to leeds as the barbados runway is long enough.
We went on the same cruise last year from leeds and as far as children on board is concerned there was only about 50 kids on board.
I think you will like the ventura especially the metropalis bar,really classy.
