Welcome onboard
If you avoid the first 6 rows in the economy cabin (row 14 and 18 have no window on the V2 aircraft), all other rows aft have windows. You'll find further aircraft information including aircraft photos and seat plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Mark, I thought the refund of the air ticket price, after 5 hour delay, was only applicable if you cancel the holiday?
And that is where it gets confusing. If you bought a ticket only (eg not a package holiday) you are entitled to a refund (plus possible compensation) of the cost of the ticket.
If it is a package holiday, I would assume the Ts and Cs of the package holiday apply.
On both occasions you would then indeed cancel your travel arrangments. Alternatively you can accept their meals, hotels etc and claim some compensation against your insurance policy (delayed departure).

We were delayed a couple of years ago. After five hours we enquired about cancelling. The Thomson guy quite rightly informed us that we were entitled to a refund for the flight only aspect. This amounted to £85 per person. The holiday was to Jamaica. We didn't bother lol and finally got away 12.5 hours late.
Anyone know what the situation is with TOM104 to Punta Cana , shows as redirected ?
A passenger had become, lets say unstable, winding themselves up to fever pitch (apparantly the massive delay was part of their rant), to a point where they had to handcuff the individual with the big cheese deciding to divert.
On the ground in Bermuda, statements to be taken and still three hours to Punta Cana. If all goes well they might actually make it around 36 hours after they were supposed to.
Thanks for the update
Does anybody have a link to the current IFE being shown on Thomson long haul? We fly to Cancun from BHX on the 16th November. After reading of all the delays to the long haul fleet, I hope we get away on time.....
You'll find aircraft information including links to current IFE on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Our two flight times are confirmed by the tickets being received TOM2788 MAN-TFS on 5.12.10 and TOM 179 on 19.12.10 LRM - MAN. Whilst you have kindly told us about the Arkefly return flight - have the actual aircraft been scheduled please and if so what information is there on the return flight as regards the seating configuration and how many of each class please ? Any information would be great - thanks
The actual aircraft won't be assigned yet, it's too early. Only the aircraft type is assigned. If you have access to select your seat online, you should be able to see the configuration. It should be similar (if not the same) as a former Thomsonfly aircraft.
Darren
We are scheduled on Tom 118/119 from Man-SFB on 21-Jan-2010. I saw earlier it was mentioned that January would be ex TomFLy but on pick your seat it is showing 2-3-2 config. has this been switched to ex FCA.
We had Tom outbound and FCA inbound last year and there isn't much difference. would have preferred TOM as there are four of us and it stops the need for seat switching for the kids mid movie!!!
Please can someone confirm which will be operating this flight.
Any ideas when IFE for Jan will be made public??
Thanks
Thanks for the reply - "you have access to select your seat online, you should be able to see the configuration" - tried on line and you can not select seats - rang Thomsons and they said they can not allow you to select seats on the return flight as they do not know the seating type on the aircraft !! When do they allocate the aircraft please ? Thanks
It won't be allocated until closer to the departure date although they should know by now the configuration to expect (similar to the ex-TOM short haul as I mentioned previously, more details on Arkefly's website). As it's a cruise charter, only the airline can answer your questions.
Darren
MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM118/9) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). It was an ex-TOM up until the end of October. IFE for Jan will be releasedat the end of December.
Darren
Thanks for the quick response Darren. Extra elbow room will be good.
Thanks Darren ! If I can not find out I may ask again say one or two weeks before departure - by then it is probably showing on your schedules !!
I am a little confused about my scheduled departure time, at the moment TOM144 - Saturday Manchester to Cancun departs at 9.40, my flight tickets show 10.40 - do they switch to a winter schedule sometime this month, at first I thought it was to do with switching to GMT from BST but it is still 9.40 today on my Manchester airport iPhone app, although my app showed it didn't depart until 11am.
Always go off the flight times confirmed on your tickets. The winter schedule started at the beginning of November. What dates are you flying? TOM144/5 is showing as departing at 1040 on 27/11/2010, but 0940 at all other dates on the aircraft schedule.
Darren
Thanks Darren, yes flying 27th. Cheers for the info.
