Its been a while since I last posted, but soem of you may remember my post after post regarding the Thomson Emerald.
Well, a group of us finally forgave Thonson and thought we would go to the caribean on the newer ship, the thomson dream. None of us were tricked into this, we all purchased the cruise knowing her age etc, we just wanted to all go together on the same ship and see if we could enjoy it like we did on the Emerald.
heres my problem.
having booked about a year ago, at a hefty price with no on board credit, we have found that they have undercut the prices by about £1000 and offering beter cabins.
Now in total, there are about 8 of us travelling from various parts of the country.
Does anyone have any advice on how to treat thomson. We have been down the local branch route, and they have said its head office who say no, they would help if they could.
Ironically, my wife and I have actually spoken to David Selby at one stage (not related to this issue) and wish we had a direct contact now. My wife and I have been cruising for 11 years and had 15 cruises with Thomsons. Is this how they have decided to treat their loyal repeat bookers?
Answers on a postcard, i'm interested in all views. I can cancel the whole thing and rebook immeadiately and still make the cosr of an all inclusive upgrade.
