anyone know the water temps nowish and for next few weeks for diving..livaboard, northern wrecks and reefs from 10th onwards..
we think about 18./19 if it as usual...maybe a little warmer..
many thanks...
Hi
Ps, sea was very warm like a bath when we left x
It will certainly be warmer than the North Sea Val surely you aren't turning into a wimp in your old age Just hope the waters are open for diving for you. We have just returned from the Hughada area sea very warm it was just before the current shark attacks I went snorkeling no problem but I suppose I am an acquired taste
I have done UK diving for this year as my drysuit needs some new wrist seals and a shoulder dump putting in...and it is way too cold to dive this time of year without one...so I am going for the winter fix!
We are not actually staying in Hurghada..just flying there..going on the Liveaboard and some Sharm sites are on the itinary..as I understand it, we were going to be ok as we have more than 50 logged dives each and are with a recognised CDWS boat. This whole shark thing is very unusual behaviour..but it will not stop me going diving at all.
OK I have got to ask I was hoping somebody else would do it but what is a Liveaboard
It's like a dive boat that you holiday on for the duration of your Stay Graham .( Live aboard) . Plenty of Diving , talking diving (maybe over a few beers of an evening , if that's allowed ), more diving . I would think maybe you moor up in different places but not sure . Maybe you might get a circling shark that nudges your boat from underneath like in jaws (sorry had to slip that one in )
Thanks Lyn makes sense now
