I'm going to Asia and South East asia for 7 months next year. My initial flight is in July flying from London to Singapore via Mumbai (12 hour stop could have gone with another airline with shorter stop but fancied having an explore). So i'll be getting a Visa (haven't even looked what hoops they are making us jump through this time as yet).
I'm flying with Kingfisher airways and signed up for their Kings Club card. After having a look how many points i'd earn for my return flight (London>Singapore>Bangkok>London) I noticed i'd have enough points to get to Goa and Back from Mumbai..for free!! Got me thinking.. Sneaky week in Goa.. YES PLEASE.
Only issue its in July which is the height of typhoon season. Is it worth going then? Will anything be open and will people be there?
